FAQ

You Have Questions and We Have Answers!!

Below you will find some questions frequently asked by parents and students. Please call us at (437) 290-2909 or email us if you do not see the answers to your questions.

We provide tutoring assistance to students from Kindergarten to University and College for all subjects including: English, French, Math, Statistic, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business, Economics and Accounting.

B2A Learning Centre develops a unique customized course material for each student. We also use the Ontario provincial educational standards to ensure that all the lessons are based on provincial grade level expectations and that our students are learning relevant skills that can be applied in the classroom and will perform better academically.

The cost of the program varies depending on the needs of the student. We have a variety of programs and payments options designed to fit all budgets. The student is required to take the assessment in the beginning so we can assess his/her strengths and weaknesses to create an individualized program suited to his/her situation.

Yes, we provide preparation for EQAO of grades 3, 6, and 9 and we also provide Ontario Secondary School Test Literacy (OSSLT) preparation for the grade 10 students.

Yes, our academic advisor provides career counseling and helps our students apply for universities across the nation.

Yes. If you’re concerned that your child is not keeping up in class, B2A Learning Centre encourages you to consider enrollment in the B2A Program as soon as possible. B2A will start by having your child complete an initial assessment test at no cost to you. The results of this test will help determine the best starting point for your child to the instructor. From there, the step-by-step method will help your child build a solid grasp of math and reading, and grow more confident and motivated while mastering each concept and lesson.

B2A’s individualized instruction is meant to help your child advance and succeed. In fact, many B2A students are studying above grade level. Advanced students are introduced to new concepts earlier than at school and can experience the advantage of learning new material ahead of their peers.

The most important step you can take is to help your child establish a routine by developing a daily schedule. To encourage your child, you will want to celebrate and praise successes and progress, large or small. Younger children may need some extra guidance from you in completing worksheets. It’s also very important to maintain regular communication with your instructor about homework, motivation, curriculum, or any other major event in your child’s life. The instructor is there for you and your child, and wants what you want; to help your child succeed.

Summer Tutoring may be the best way to ensure that your child is ready for success in the coming school year. B2A will help your child get better grades and develop a love for learning while improving his/her reading, math and writing skills. With only a few sessions per week, your child will head back to school confident, motivated and ready to learn from day one.

B2A tutors are motivated, specialized tutors who are experts in their area of study. Some of our tutors are certified teachers and university graduate students aspiring to become professionals. Each of our enthusiastic tutors is skilled in clearly explaining subject matter and strategies.
